Inspired by my own personal experience, this film explores how loss can expose deep emotional differences within families, sometimes leading to separation instead of healing. It also challenges the unspoken rule of never speaking ill of the dead, examining how idealization after death can prevent honesty, closure and understanding.

I made this film to engage with the emotional weight of sexual assault allegations — a space where truth is often reduced to one statement against another. It reflects the discomfort of questioning accusations without denying the pain of victims, and the devastating consequences of a world where credibility is fragile and belief is never guaranteed.
